Welcome Back to Term 2!
I’ve picked up some terrific new books during the holidays – they should start hitting the shelves next week! Some great new beginner’s chapter books because it’s hard to keep up with those Stage 1 readers, also a new ‘Top Gear’ book, cookbooks, cartoon drawing and two new lettering books – something for everyone!
Did you read something exciting, mysterious, funny, sad, boring or even dreadful during the holidays? I’m giving a prize for the best comment, so get busy!!
If you enjoy reading and writing poetry, check out the Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards. You may be lucky enough to be shortlisted or even win a prize!
I’m looking forward to reading your comments!
